The chalet features a well-equipped game room with a pool table and classic Ms Pac-Man arcade game, perfect for entertaining guests of all ages. After a day of mountain adventures, unwind in the private hot tub while taking in the serene forest views.
With direct trail access to National Forest land, you can step right out your door for hiking, wildlife viewing, and exploring the pristine Colorado wilderness. The home's thoughtful design and quality furnishings create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel right at home.
You can take the RTD to Nederland but we do not have local Rideshare services. Your host, Reid, runs a ride service and can assist you in getting to the house, and going to events, if you decide to come on the bus - just let him know soon so he can get you on his limited schedule!
In summer months you can definitely walk to town without much difficulty. Winter winds and ice make it less desirable...

Wonderful Stay at Mountain Chalet! Great home and location with room for everyone to relax after a day in the mountains. Cozy nooks, comfy sunroom space, and outdoor seating. Well-stocked - especially the kitchen- with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kirk is a gracious host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. If you're looking for a relaxing mountain retreat with a top-notch host, this is the perfect spot.
We enjoyed our stay at Kirk's place. The living area is very comfortable and we loved all the different spaces to relax: the balcony with the gorgeous view, the sunroom in the mornings and the deck in the afternoons. Great place!!
We really enjoyed our stay at this rental in Nederland. The house had plenty of space for 4+ guests, the kitchen was modern and well-stocked and the game room and hot tub were extra bonuses that our teenagers enjoyed. We had a few small issues with the kitchen faucet but Kirk was very responsive and quick to respond with our questions. Even brought us an extra fan to help circulate air in the bedrooms. We travel to the Nederland area most summers and love the little town and it's quirky restaurants and wonderful hiking spots.
Beautiful getaway nestled in the foothills of Nederland. The hot tub is truly lovely, and the house has excellent ambient light.
This was the perfect place four our family of 5! A quality house with a lot of character and amenities. Beautiful setting in this quaint mountain town. Great proximity to CU Boulder, Estes Park, Red Rock Ampitheatre and minutes away from Eldora ski mountain. Kirk is a great host and very accommodating.
This was our third time to stay at the Mountain Chalet. This cabin has everything you could need or want! The hosts are extremely responsive and have any issues fixed the same day. The kitchen has every piece of cookware and lots of spices are available to use. This retreat does not disappoint!
